Hilbre
Point The north-western tip of the Wirral, with the Royal Liverpool golf course and West Kirby (with its marine lake) and Caldy (wooded) behind. The Dee estuary is to the right and Liverpool Bay at the bottom. Just below Hilbre Point, the tiny sandy-looking patch is the sandstone outcrop called Red Rocks. A similar patch to the right is the island known as Little Eye. |

Heswall to Hoylake Heswall is in the foreground with the scenic heathland of Heswall Dales centre right. The straight line running diagonally from Heswall to West Kirby is the Wirral Way. Thurstaston Village and Common are towards the top right, below Hoylake. |

Dales Heswall Dales is the area below centre. The wooded area towards the top right is the Dungeon, a lovely little ravine with a stream. |

Brimstage
and Storeton Brimstage is the village in the forground to the right. Above it in the distance is Storeton, with Storeton Wood on the edge of the picture to its right. The Mersey estuary is just discernible top right. The linear features criss-crossing the landscape are the Lever Causeways. |
